"Waiting For my Curtain"

This photo was taken in Prague, in a wooden toy shop. The subject is a small play theatre, with puppets. I chose to use a small depth of field and focus, in contrast to that in the background, rather than the foreground. I wanted this to symbolise how the handles of the puppets blur reality, like my choice of focus, making the little wooden figures appear alive.

I edited this picture quite a lot, bleeding in sepia, adding a vignette effect, and also chosing to add a zoom effect from the devil character's face. This, I like to believe, adds a certain discomfort to the picture, and makes the viewer uneasy.
