"Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers"

This is a photograph from a recent photography trip to Poland, where we visited Auschwitz. The atmosphere cannot be described through words. Haunting just doesn't seem to cut it.

I chose to use a small depth of field in order to focus on the rain drop on the barbed wire, and in editing decided to saturate the image. I have left a little colour around the drop, you can see slight hints of greens and blues. Even the barbed wire cries at Auschwitz.
